PRIVACY STATEMENT for customers and suppliers

 

In order to comply with the GDPR legalization we want to inform our suppliers and customers in a correct manner about the usage and retention of personal data by means of this privacy statement.

1. Collection and use of personal data

We would like to inform you about the fact that we will collect and use personal data that is provided to us, as this is necessary to conclude and execute any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and (potential) suppliers/contractors.

Are you a (potential) customer of us, then we use personal data for/to:

    • making an offer
    • to be able to deliver goods or carry out services
    • to invoice and
    • to be able to communicate with you smoothly and efficiently about the implementation aspects of the (potential) agreement

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data are also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the (potential) agreement. In purchasing this is necessary to be able to let you know to which specifications or wishes a particular item or service in our opinion must comply, make a quotation request or place an order with you, pay your invoices and be able to communicate efficiently with you about other aspects of the agreement. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. If you provide us none or insufficient personal data, then it is possible that we cannot perform the aforementioned activities.

2. Pass on to third parties

In connection with the execution of a (potential) agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties that supply parts, materials and products to us or carry out work under our supervision.

3. Retention period of personal data

If you have requested a quotation from us but you have not become a customer of us, we will delete your data not later than 25 years after our last contact. Even if we have received an quotation from you, but we have not become an customer of your company, your personal data will be deleted not later than 25 years after our last contact. If you have become a customer with us or we are a customer of you, we will not keep your personal data longer than is strictly necessary.

4. How we protect personal data

De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. If you have the impression that your data is not secure or that there are indications of abuse, please send an e-mail to gdpr@deboermachines.nl.

5. Your rights

You have the right to view your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to correct faulty data. You also have the right to request the removal of your personal data or limit the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data. If this objection request results in an considerable amount of labor, we will ask a reasonable fee for this. If you wish to appeal to this right, you can inform us about this by sending an email to gdpr@deboermachines.nl.
