BRICK HANDLING

BRICK PACK HANDLING

Since the acquisition of GSP Pannerden, De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. supplies special grabs for HULO type brick packs. These packs, also referred to as Bickerstaff or Tendergrip packs, are characterised by having a bottom course of spaced bricks, allowing fork shaped grippers to lift and carry the complete packs without the need for carriers such as pallets or strapping.

Applied as forklift attachments or as crane grippers, to load and unload intermittent kilns or kiln cars, on the brickyard or at the construction site. De Boer grippers are custom built, to suit actual brick sizes and brick pack layout.

KILN CAR CLEANING & CENTRING SYSTEMS

Dedicated machines to thoroughly clean kiln cars, inline and fully automated. Cleaning the bare kiln car deck under the refractory blocks to ensure a perfect setting deck and a trouble free kiln passage.

Less advanced kiln car cleaners are supplied as well, not lifting the blocks, yet still thoroughly cleaning the decks and re-aligning the blocks. Or more sophisticated machines, handling under deck fired kiln cars with multiple layers of refractories, all have been supplied at many brick plants around the world.
