ROTARY DRUM DRYER

The rotary drum dryer is an industrial workhorse. Next to its reliability, it is able to continuously and quickly dry different kind of materials. The materials can either come into direct contact with the heater flame, or indirectly with generated heat only. In co-current or counter-current flow principle. Optional sieve to remove contaminations.

TRANSPORT, DOSING SCREWS, BUCKET ELEVATORS

Both for transport and dosing applications. Made in varying sizes and types of screws, tubes and buckets to suit different materials and capacities.

BELT CONVEYORS & ELEVATORS

Our belt conveyors are designed for operation under heavy working conditions. Applied in the heavy clay, concrete an aggregate industry where 24 hour operation may be required, our belt conveyors have proven to be extremely reliable. Both trough and flat belt conveyors in modular construction. Available with cover belt for steep transport or double-belt for vertical transport. Special provisions are taken to prevent polluting of the conveyor belt, spilling of material and spreading of dust.

BOX FEEDERS & TURNTABLE FEEDERS

Fed by front end loaders, trucks or via conveyors, these box feeders are suitable to buffer and dose all kinds of materials, like clay, wet sand, lava, gravel, gypsum, chalk etc. up to 200 tons per hour. Internally conveyed by steel slat conveyor or by rubber belt, with a picker shaft at the discharge to smoothen the required discharge volume.

Our stainless steel turntable hoppers are very suitable for feeding moist abrasive products like wet sand and lava. Even for the feed of sticky hard wood swarf and saw dust up to 10 tons per hour.

Our compact hoppers with dosing screws or vibrating chutes are mainly used for dosing additives.

PROCESS WATER PURIFICATION

Water purification systems for process water. Pre-separation of floating material such as saw dust and wood chips via a band sieve. Sand is removed by means of a hydrocyclone circuit. Fines are separated by sedimentation in a holding tank, where the sludge is gathered and discharged at the bottom. The sedimentation process is accelerated by means of an automatic poly dosing and control unit, adding low concentrations of flocculant – and coagulant if required – via a static mixer into the process water.

DUST EXTRACTION

Complete systems with dust extraction at the dust emitting sources. All custom built for maximum performance. Equipped either with wetfilter system or with dry filter cartridges. Custom engineered with dust extraction hoods, complete ducting systems towards the wetfilter or baghouse. Special applications like “frog cleaning” of dried bricks.

MIXERS

Our mixer are mainly engineered en build for the soft mud brick industry. The single shaft mixers are used for mixing clay with water or steam to achieve a plasticity that is suitable for the soft mud brick production. The amount of water or steam which is added to the clay body can be electronically controlled by means of dosing devices. The single shaft mixer can be equipped with wear resistant plating mounted on the inside of the mixer tub. The mixer paddles and rakes are available with various coating to achieve a long tool life.

GREEN BRICK CLEANING

Green brick cleaning and sand extraction is the first step to prevent dust and wear in the heavy clay industry. Green bricks coming from dryers contain loose sand and little lumps of clay. The surplus sand of green bricks is extracted with a high under pressure fan, air is extracted and transported to a cyclone. So that the sand can be reused.
