De Boer was founded in The Netherlands in 1936 as a machine manufacturing company. We first specialised in the development and manufacturing of Funfair attractions.
Through continuous innovation and following trends in the market, De Boer slowly shifted towards the heavy clay industry. After this successful shift De Boer is known for her innovative capabilities, reliability, flexibility, and leadership in the soft mud technology.
With life patents and a leading market share, we deliver our soft mud systems to almost every major ceramic and brick manufacturer in the world.

ALWAYS AHEAD OF THEIR TIME
1936
ESTABLISHMENT
Gerrit de Boer, son of a railroad engineer, sets up his own little workshop right beside the „de Spoorkuil“ railroad tracks for customers from different fields and areas.
1947
FIRST PRESS WITH A CASTING CHAIN
First ever build of a press with a casting chain, still using an Aberson soft mud dispenser for five bricks in a row – a major step forward compared to loose moulds.
1967
PRODUCTION OF FAIRGROUND RIDES
De Boer adds fairground rides to the product range. De Boer build a total of 20 carousels.
1975
ACQUISITION OF MACHINEFABRIEK DAANEN B.V.
With the acquisition of Machinefabriek Daanen B.V in Boxmeer. De Boer extents her product range. Machinefabriek Daanen B.V. specializes in designing and manufacturing of auxiliary equipment for the brick industry.
1991
Takeover of Hubert Sneek B.V.
De Boer takes over Hubert Sneek B.V. soft mud solutions and expands her product range again. Hubert Sneek B.V. designes and manufactures press installations with the unique Hubert mould filling system.
1993
ACQUISITION OF MACHINEFABRIEK ABERSON B.V.
De Boer takes over Machinefabriek Aberson B.V. in Olst, and consolidates the product range. Machinefabriek Aberson B.V. designes and manufactures press installations with proven handling of clay clots to create unique textured bricks
1998
DE BOER 100TH PRESS
De Boer produces the 100th press for an Italian customer.
2009
DE BOER DAMBLE IS ESTABLISHED
De Boer establishes De Boer Damble to enter the Indian Brick market.
2010
MERGE WITH MACHINEFABRIEK DAANEN
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. merges with Machinefabriek Daanen B.V. on a new production facility in Wijchen to become “De Boer Machines Nederland B.V.”
2010
DE BOER ACQUIRES MAJORITY INTEREST IN PETERSEN
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. acquires a majority interest in the Danish company Petersen. Together with Petersen; De Boer Machines targets to expend activities on the Scandinavian brick market.

DE BOER MACHINES NEDERLAND B.V. OPEN NEW HEADQUARTERS
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. moves in to the newely build headquarters in Wijchen and celebrates her 75th anniversary.
2013
ACQUISITION OF GSP PANNERDEN
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. acquires GSP Pannerden; expanding the product range. GSP Pannerden specializes in brick pack handling (forklift and crane attachments) and kiln car cleaning and centring installations.
2016
80TH ANNIVERSARY
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. celebrates the 80th anniversary with employees, customers and suppliers.
2017
DEVELOPMENT OF A BRICK SLIP INSTALLATION
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. develops and delivers a brick slip installation to meet the needs of customers in an ever changing market.
2019
NEW MILLING MACHINE
De Boer Machines Nederland B.V. invested in a brand new milling machine to further improve the quality of the products.
2023
ROBOT ASSISTED MOULDBOX BOTTOM SHAPING
By means of a new robotized machining centre De Boer Machines Nederland BV is now able to further improve the way moulds and its moveable bottoms are made. With this new robotized machining centre the right margins between the different parts can be obtained in a very precise way. Ultimately this will give our customers the opportunity to make bricks with a higher quality in a very consistent way. (Video)
