Our engineers have successfully installed and commissioned a complete new backshield with roller shafts and motor frame for a De Boer B.V. Handformatic press at a customer location in the UK. The project includes a new modified takeover device, driven by a SEW servo drive with a built-in encoder and Movidrive frequency controller. On the electrical side, the upgrade includes the following:
  • Two new control cabinets
  • New S7 PLC systems for the press and Handformatic
  • Profinet configuration, new SEW Movitrac inverters
  • Two new HMI displays, and new remote safety I/O with Profinet
  • A complete new control cabinet for the Handformatic
